Bremont Norton V4

British motorcycles once dominated the international market. One of the key players, Norton, was founded by James Lansdowne Norton in Birmingham in 1898 and is still a favourite among vintage motorbike enthusiasts.

The 1950s were Norton’s golden era but eventually the brand started fading in the 1970s. New owner Stuart Garner bought the motorbike maker in 2008 and thankfully placed it back in the international game. This year, Norton took a brand new SG6 motorbike to the Isle of Man TT and British watchmaker Bremont has launched two special Norton-inspired commemorative chronographs, V4SS and V4RR, with each model limited to 200 pieces. The V4SS watch is only available to the 200 Norton V4SS machine owners, whereas the V4RR watch is available for general sale. Both Norton V4 chronographs feature the calibre BE-50AE automatic chronometer inside the 43 mm stainless steel case. The retro looking Norton logo is located at 6 o’clock on the silver dial, while the black perforated leather strap is influenced by the 1950s classic racing style.
