Icon Branches Out
Icon Duesey Watch

Known for his passion and expertise in bespoke car building and restoration, Icon 4×4 founder Jonathan Ward is never shy about his love for horology. It’s well known that Ward is an avid watch collector, but even we didn’t really expect him to design a timepiece and launch it under the Icon brand.

The Icon Duesey Watch comes as a nice surprise and is on par with the standard of Icon’s other releases. Taking inspiration from the tachometer found on original Duesenberg cars, Duesey Watch has a minimalistic design with polished grade 5 titanium bezel and black onyx dial, while the case body and back are made of sandblasted grade 2 titanium. There are no hands on the dial but two windows showing hours and minutes in numerals. Through the sapphire crystal case back, the wearer can admire the Swiss Dubois-Depraz calibre 14400 module built based on top of the ETA 2892A2 automatic movement. The brass lizard logo at the back is difficult to miss too.

The watch comes with a black alligator leather strap and is water-resistant up to 50 metres. Limited to 50 examples, it can only be purchased directly from Icon’s website.
