The Disappear Retreat, created by architecture firm Coulson, is for when you need a nature getaway but still prefer the convenience of city life.

The exterior of the retreat is cladded with reflective glass, which acts as a camouflage to hide the living space in its surroundings. At the same time, visitors can enjoy the stunning view outside through the glass. The building does not require any active heating or cooling systems because of its super-insulation and air-tightness. Even if the outside is freezing cold, inside Disappear Retreat the temperature will not drop below 15°C thanks to the passive solar heating via the glass roof and walls. The interior is furnished with grey weathered wood, while three layouts are available, including one allows for a sauna. The whole cabin can be fitted to a standard trailer.

Disappear Retreat is now under testing and development. It will be available for sale in 2019. Coulson aims to sell the retreat at a reasonable price of USD 25,000 to 45,000 each.
