Ringbrothers to show three custom cars at SEMA

Tuning house Ringbrothers from Spring Green, Wisconsin will debut three custom built cars at SEMA later this week.

The first is a 1972 AMC Javelin AMX named “Defiant!” The body is rebuilt in carbon fibre and painted in “Jalop Gold”. Under the hood is a Wegner Motorsports 6.2-litre Hellcat engine fitted with a Whipple blower, generating over 1,000 hp. Other features include a Flowmaster exhaust, HRE wheels and Baer brakes.

The second muscle car is a 1969 Dodge Charger named “Defector”, which reportedly required 4700 hours to build. Its body is two inches shorter than the standard Charger, while the chassis is lengthened by three inches. Fitted with Wegner Motorsports-built 6.4-litre Hemi V-8, Flowmaster exhaust and HRE wheels, the body is finished in paint called “Greener on the Other Side”.

The final offering is a 1956 Ford F-100 pickup truck dubbed “Clem 101”. The chassis is a custom-built box frame that tucks massive HRE wheels with Nitto semi slicks. A 5.0-litre Ford Coyote V8 engine is used and once again paired with a Flowmaster exhaust. The body is also in green, a different “Speedy P Green” shade.
