Italdesign exhibits 30 cars for its 50th anniversary

Founded by Giorgetto Giugiaro in 1968, Italdesign is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. With the Parco Valentino Turin Auto Show starting on 6 June, the design studio is taking the opportunity to showcase about thirty prototypes and production models throughout the company’s history.

These amazing models will be displayed inside the courtyard of Castello del Valentino throughout the duration of the Turin Auto Show, greeting the eyes of thousands of visitors to the event. Among them include a 1968 Bizzarrini Manta, the very first prototype fully developed by Italdesign, and the 1981 DeLorean DMC 12, also known as the Back to the Future time machine. Other highlights include the interesting looking 1978 Lancia Megagamma, the aggressive 1993 BMW Nazca C2, 2001 Aston Martin Twenty Twenty, 2002 Alfa Romeo Brera prototype and 2005 Ferrari GG50. There will be Italdesign branded cars of course, from the 1986 Machimoto to the most recent Zerouno, Duerta and the Pop.Up Next concept. Italdesign has also created an app so visitors can have each car’s information on hand when admiring these beauties.
