A week before the Auto China 2018 show kicks off, Mercedes has teased a new concept car debuting on the first day of the show taking place in Beijing. Dubbed the ‘Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury’, the concept car is an SUV filled with the exclusive high-end design language of Maybach.

The exterior of the concept is still a blur, but it has been reported that this is the Maybach version of the next-generation GLS, and the production version will be launched as early as November this year. Mercedes mentions it is inspired by Chinese influences but does not go into the details, while a special furniture collection has been designed to reflect the design idiom, form and material mix of the show car.

Mercedes will also debut the A-Class sedan and the updated C-Class, of which the former is described by the automaker as a product produced in China for China.
