Every Car Can Become A Legend
After the Race

Founded by art director Jean-Denis Claessens and contemporary artist Edmond “Pogo” Thonnard, “After the Race” uses vintage racing cars as inspirations for creating a set of vivid artefacts that should be the basic “must-have” hanging-art for all automotive enthusiasts.

Like its motto says, “every car can become a legend”, this artwork is made in the form of doors and hoods of the legendary Porsche 911 and 917, all handmade and given realistic wear and tear courtesy of the artist. The patina is created using the slag of the race; oil, tire rubber and other ingredients from a secret formula that gives the feeling that this artwork has been taken off these cars immediately after their victory laps.
