Focal, a high-fidelity audio manufacturer since 1979, has long been synonymous with high-end loudspeakers. Now, the French audio specialist has introduced its first wireless loudspeaker, the Focal Diva Utopia. While entering the market later than some competitors, Focal ensures the product lives up to its impressive reputation.
Standing 121 cm tall, 56 cm deep, and 42 cm wide, and weighing 64 kg, the Diva Utopia is a 3-way bass-reflex floorstanding speaker designed with Focal’s renowned expertise. It features patented ‘W’ cone speaker membranes, a 27 mm beryllium ‘M’-profile tweeter, a mid-bass driver, and four side-mounted woofers for exceptional sound precision. Developed in collaboration with Naim Electronics, it integrates cutting-edge wireless technology, 400-watt power amplification, and a new streaming architecture, delivering audio quality up to 348kHz/32-bit — far surpassing CD standards for high-resolution sound.
The Diva Utopia supports Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and UPnP, providing seamless connectivity to streaming services like Spotify Connect and TIDAL. True to Focal’s craftsmanship, the speakers are handmade in France, ensuring top quality. The removable side panels, crafted from light grey felt, offer a subtle and sustainable material choice that complements modern interiors. With its focus on design and quality, the Diva Utopia is not just a speaker, but a piece of audio art, perfectly suited for contemporary spaces.
