For years, when people talk about New Balance it usually focuses on its running shoes. In the upcoming Topo Designs collaboration, though, another model is put under the spotlight.

The American outdoor apparel brand famous for its casual backpacks has teamed up with New Balance to release a capsule collection. The highlight in the collaboration is easily the All Coasts 574 skate shoe. Featuring a narrow fit for better performance, the classic style now comes in cream shaded suede and white mesh upper. The tongue is adorned with the logo of the two brands and the insole is stylishly dressed in grid print. Then there are the signature bags from Topo Designs – the Rover backpack and Quick Pack, updated with the same cream shade as the All Coasts 574 shoe, while the long-sleeve tee has grid print on the sleeves and big logos at the front. The collaboration is launching on the Topo Designs website on 11 October.
