Dancer Bus
A city scape from the future

It does not have to be an epic history, or a list of great achievements that demands people to look up to, for a city to be considered great. The project “Dancer Bus” by company Vėjo projektai, dedicates itself into the designing of special urban public transportations. Within its range of proposals, the “LB Trolley bus” has raised the most public attention.

The futuristic-looking bus in the image was modified from the Skoda TR14, which was initially a tram train. It abandons its original track mode, and its heavy shell was replaced by a translucent composite material, making it 57% lighter in weight than the original prototype. It also saves more energy, allowing it to catch up to the world’s trend in carbon reduction. Apart from that, its choice of material also allows for the riders to view the cityscape at 360 degrees. There are lots of inbuilt multimedia projection technologies on the bus, allowing it to become a physical billboard at night, adding a lovely touch of detail in the urban landscape when the night sky falls.

This “Dancer Bus” project, which combines both the concept of environmental protection and technology, is still in its testing stage, but just the appearance and the concept itself has already caused people to anticipate. When it is finally completed, it will surely be a symbol of uniqueness in different cities.
