Crystal Clear Celebration
The Tree of Glass

British designer Lee Broom recently collaborated with glassware brand Nude, using 245 hand-blown glass LED pendant lights to create ‘The Tree of Glass’, a huge Christmas tree inspired by The London Shard’s architecture.

Each LED pendant light has four facets, two of which are reeded vertically for maximising light refraction, with the remaining two facets transparent, allowing visitors to glance through the tree. ‘The Tree of Glass’ will be dismantled in the coming New Year, and each of the hand-blown glass LED pendant lights and sold separately, with all proceeds donated to the British Red Cross.

This extraordinary Christmas tree is not only a brilliant design but also creates hope and goodwill by raising beneficial funds for a worthy cause.
