LEGO and Star Wars have joined forces to create the LEGO Star Wars BOOST Droid Commander set. This offers fans a chance to not only build but also code the actions of three iconic droids from the popular film series – R2-D2, the Gonk Droid and the Mouse Droid.

The LEGO BOOST is a drag-and-drop system that can be easily handle, and user can choose more than 40 interactive missions for the droids and create their own Star Wars scenes. The set includes 1,177 pieces to build all three droids, plus a colour and distance sensor, interactive motor and  Bluetooth supported Move Hub connection for all the actions. The droids are just 5 to 7 inches tall, and each come with their own personalities, skills, and authentic Star Wars sounds and music. Out of the three droids in the set, R2-D2 seems to be the smartest one as it can “receive and decode an incoming message”.  The set will be available globally starting from 1 September at US$ 199.99.
