Ping Pong, despite its current popularity in Asia, is a game  that originated in Victorian England where the upperclass played it as an after-dinner game. The format of the sport has not changed much, but Italian company Impatia is now injecting some new elements into the game.

Lungolinea is a visionary reinterpretation of the ping pong table that reconnects the sport with its upper-class roots. Designed by Torino brothers Davide and Gabriele Adriano of Design Adriano and fabricated by Impatia in Italy, the table is crafted in clear crystal glass, allowing the every move of the ball to be observed from every angle. Lungolinea is designed according to official table dimensions and uses a regulation ping pong net. The connecting joints and parts of the net kit are individually plated with 24k gold by an Italian goldsmith to boost the luxury level. Lungolinea is also available in a standard version with polished metal components.
