Classics For The Next Generation
Over 140 classic pedal cars go for auction

UK auction house Brightwells is holding an auction later this month on behalf of the Jaguar Land Rover Classic Centre. In addition to the over 100 units of affordable classic cars (none of them are Jaguar or Land Rover mind you), what has caught our attention are the classic pedal cars that are on offer with no reserve.

It is rare that such a large amount of pedal cars would be sold at one auction. While the manufacturing years of these pedal cars are unknown, their styles range from pre-war era to 2000s, and from sedans to race cars, scooters and even aeroplanes. Some of them are really interesting, such as the 1960s Lotus F1 car with John Player Special livery, the sharknose Ferrari, and tributes to vintage Alfa Romeo, Bentley and Bugatti. Some are more than just for pedaling and are equipped with electric motor and forward and reverse options.

‘Affordable Classics at Bicester Heritage’ will take place on 21 March. The full listing of the auction can be found on Brightwells website.
