GranTurismo Transformed
Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Sciadipersia

Milanese coachbuilder Carrozzeria Touring has beautifully transformed the Maserati GranTurismo Coupe so heavily that you might not even recognise what the donor vehicle even is. The name Sciadipersia is a reference to the 1950s Maserati and Carrozzeria Touring collaboration commissioned by the Shah of Persia Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.

Almost all body panels are brand new and the car now features a more classic shape with chrome accents, new headlights and a ventilated hood. The exterior is coated in a “Orient Night Blue” shade, while the interior is very much the same as the stock car but updated with premium leather upholstery and aluminium accents.

Carrozzeria Touring has no intention to change anything powertrain-wise, so the original Maserati 4.7-litre naturally aspirated V8 with 460 hp and 520 Nm can still be found in the car. Only 10 examples will be built and each one takes six months to complete.
