After seeing the success of Range Rover’s restoration programme, Jaguar’s Reborn Programme has been introduced to restore its own classic car series, starting initially with the E-Type Series 1 manufactured from 1961 to 1968 and to be based on the 1965 Series 1 4.2 Fixed Head Coupe. The initial run of ten cars will be delivered in “as new” condition with classic Jaguar parts and original factory specifications. Of course, to own this rare “Reborn” E-Type, you’ll first have to prepay GBP£285,000 (estimated HK$2,780,000).
