London-based Playforever is keen to create toy cars that are built to last for a life time. While many toy car collectors are in fact grown ups, Playforever insists on keeping their products suitable for young children, yet maintaining the distinctive style of vehicles from different eras.

Founder Julian Meagher was fascinated by the beauty and magic of classic vehicles at a young age, and it was such passion that lead to the formation of Playforever. The collection draw inspiration from a wide range of vehicles, including iconic racing cars and racing planes. One of the products that has caught our attention is the Leadbelly toy car. Paying tribute to the America muscle car of the late 1960s and 1970s, Leadbelly features simplified, minimalist lines and is fitted with soft-roll rubber fat tires with SUNRAY lettering. Measuring 161 mm in length, 80 mm in width and 63 mm in height, the toy car is made of ABS plastic with high gloss UV coating, then finished with hand-polish.
