Celebrating Its Founder’s Passion
New exhibitions at the Ferrari Museum

To celebrate the 120th anniversary of founder Enzo Ferrari, the Ferrari Museum in Maranello is now hosting the “Driven by Enzo” and “Passion and Legend” exhibitions to pay tribute to his passion to cars as they retrace the countless developments in style and technology in the marque’s history.

“Driven by Enzo” shows off the models driven by Enzo Ferrari personally for his daily journey. He was a man of four-seaters as they combined comfort with sportiness, plus he could ferry around his illustrious visitors in them. It all started with the 1960 Ferrari 250 GT 2+2 and later the 400 GTi, the 412, and finally the Ferrari 456 GT which he approved in 1988. While he did have a chauffeur, he still felt the need to be a driver and the chauffeur could ofter be found on the passenger seat.

“Passion and Legend” retraces the story of Enzo Ferrari and Ferrari through seven decades of the most beautiful cars and their images, showcasing the founder’s vision and his love for cars. Models on display include: the 1948 166 Inter which was the first Ferrari mainly for road use, the 1956 Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta “Tdf” and the Dino 246. More recent models include the special limited series F12tdf, and the 812 Superfast, the highest performing road car.

The exhibitions also feature two interactive stations for visitors to learn more about the most important 2+2 Ferraris and take a virtual visit to the current production facilities. The exhibitions will run until May 2019.
