Volvo has presented a futuristic concept that could rival domestic flights. What’s being shown here is not the first-class suite on a commercial plane, but the interior of Volvo 360c, the latest autonomous, fully electric concept car.

Volvo 360c can potential be used as a sleeping environment, mobile office, living room and entertainment space, while at the same time taking its passengers from one city to another without the trouble of queuing at security checks. Factoring in the time you spend getting to and from the airports and all waiting, travelling on the road can easily be more time-saving.

Apart from re-imagining how people travel, Volvo also looks at how people engage with friends and family during the journey. A two-hour road trip in the evening can easily turn into a relaxing catch-up with a friend or two, as if you were sitting in a bar for happy hours.
