Bizarre (Boat) Triangle
JRuiter Tinnie 10 Side-by-Side Vessel

How shaping a boat in an isosceles triangle helps its speed or functionality is beyond most people, but JRuiter’s Tinnie 10 Side-by-Side Vessel has been under the limelight thanks to its unconventional and inventive appearance anyway. Designed by Joey Ruiter, the boat follows the aesthetics of his previous creations and has a contemporary, minimal outlook with clean lines throughout.

As the name suggests, the vessel is 10 feet long and good enough for two people sitting side by side on the Xorel upholstered seating at the rear. Formed with 1/8-inch thick black powder-coated aluminium and finished with natural white oak plank flooring, the boat is extremely lightweight at 173 lbs, and is powered by a 6hp 4-stroke motor with an alternative electric option. We are not sure about its outright speed, but as a reinvented dinghy boat, this is already pretty impressive inside and out.
