As Seen On Ripley
Reebok Alien Stomper

Alien Day set on April 26th is the annual event that pays tribute to the iconic movie franchise, referencing to the moon Acheron (LV-426) of Calpamos. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the original Alien film, so the upcoming Alien Day is expected to be filled with more memorabilia and a bigger celebration. One of the items that we are looking forward to is the limited Reebok Alien Stomper.

Reebok designed some custom sneakers for the Aliens in 1986 as seen on Ellen Ripley (played by Sigourney Weaver) and the android Bishop (played by Lance Henriksen). The shoes were released to public in 2016, but the mid-top version this year is slightly different as it features design elements and logos that did not make to the final film production. You may say that the 2019 Alien Stomper is the prototype edition both on and off screen, crafted in a cream-white and red colourway that purposely looks slightly aged and worn.

Reebok has also taken care of the detail. The shoe is packed in a vintage-styled box and and comes with an official ‘Bug Stomping’ field guide, unique hang tags including the Weylan-Yutani logo (instead of Weyland-Yutani as in the film) and a Alien40th Anniversary badge. Priced at just HK$1,399, the shoe is guaranteed to be sold out quickly upon its release.
