Aston Martin has found an interesting way to bring the thrill of endurance racing indoors. Created in partnership with Curv Racing Simulators, the new AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition celebrates the Valkyries competing at Le Mans while offering a driving experience designed to mirror the real machine as closely as possible.
Like the Valkyrie itself, the AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition places engineering and design at the forefront. Hand-built to order in the UK, each simulator is constructed around a carbon-fibre monocoque that houses the technology within a sculptural form inspired by Aston Martin’s design language.
The AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition is available in race-inspired #007 and #009 liveries. Finished in Aston Martin Podium Green with contrasting yellow or red accents, the simulator draws direct inspiration from the factory Valkyrie Hypercars competing on the world stage. While undeniably a piece of high-end gaming hardware, its striking appearance means it is equally at home as a collector’s centrepiece.
Developed by Aston Martin high-performance test driver and three-time Le Mans class winner Darren Turner, the simulator places considerable emphasis on authenticity. The seating position has been revised to closely replicate that of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, while improved ergonomics and additional adjustment make it more accommodating for a wider range of drivers. The curved 49-inch display is paired with NVIDIA RTX graphics, delivering stunning visuals that help users enjoy an immersive experience in the virtual cockpit.
The bespoke Aston Martin Valkyrie steering wheel is easily the most distinctive addition to the Hypercar Edition. Built to order for each customer, the wheel can be personalised with different side and rotary control colours, not just for better control but also to add an extra layer of exclusivity. Beneath the driver’s feet sits an electronically controlled sliding pedal box offering 200 mm of travel, with the mechanism neatly concealed within a carbon-fibre enclosure.
Limited to 24 examples worldwide, the AMR-C01-R Hypercar Edition is available to order now, with pricing starting from £58,750 plus taxes.
