Few circuits carry the history or reputation of the Nürburgring. Opened in 1927, its Nordschleife remains one of the world’s most demanding stretches of tarmac, with steep gradients, changing surfaces and around 300 metres of elevation change. Porsche has raced, tested and broken records there for decades, making the circuit a natural subject for a special 911 as it approaches its centenary.
The resulting 911 GT3 100 Jahre Nürburgring turns that connection into a distinctive visual package. Buyers can choose White or GT Silver Metallic, both contrasted by green sections at the front and rear inspired by the circuit’s ‘Green Hell’ nickname. Historic Nürburgring logos appear on the wings, while a customisable race number from 0 to 999 can be applied to the bonnet, doors and rear window using lettering influenced by the graffiti found around the Nordschleife. California Gold 20- and 21-inch forged wheels add another flash of colour, matched by gold Porsche lettering beneath the rear wing.
For those intending to use the car on track, an optional colour-coordinated Manthey Kit adds modified suspension, optimised brakes and a comprehensive aerodynamic package producing up to 540 kg of downforce at 285 km/h. Its capability was demonstrated by DTM champion Ayhancan Güven, who recorded a lap time of 6:50.853 around the Nordschleife. Buyers can also choose either a seven-speed PDK or a six-speed manual transmission.
The cabin continues the theme with a green roll cage, black leather and Race-Tex trim, plus a driver’s bucket seat featuring green material visible through graduated perforations. ‘Welcome to the Green Hell’ appears on the illuminated door sills, while the steering-wheel mode selector carries the words ‘Grüne Hölle’.
Production is limited to just 100 examples, all reserved for the German market. Owners will also have access to a matching Porsche Design Chronograph 1 and the Sonderwunsch Manthey Experience, offering an exclusive day of driving and behind-the-scenes motorsport insight at the Nürburgring.
