A New Era Of Grand Touring
Range Rover GT

Range Rover has announced the Range Rover GT, a fifth member of its model family that reimagines the traditional grand tourer through the brand’s unmistakable design philosophy. Scheduled for the 2027 model year, it also marks a significant milestone as the first all-electric Range Rover, signalling a new chapter for one of Britain’s most recognisable luxury marques.

Designed to combine the elegance and long-distance refinement of a grand tourer with the breadth of capability expected from a Range Rover, the GT adopts sleek, coupé-inspired proportions while remaining unmistakably part of the family. Prototype vehicles are currently completing final validation testing, wearing a distinctive camouflage wrap inspired by the topography surrounding Gaydon, home to Range Rover’s design and engineering teams.

Range Rover has also revealed the GT’s interior for the first time.

The cabin follows a reductive design philosophy centred on calmness, clarity, and craftsmanship. A new single-screen interface replaces the more conventional dashboard layout, accompanied by a dedicated driver display in place of a traditional instrument cluster. Hidden air vents extend across the dashboard, while speakers are concealed beneath a woven, textured surface, creating a clean aesthetic.

The interior has been designed to minimise both visual and acoustic distractions, creating a quieter, more relaxing environment for long-distance travel. Range Rover also claims class-leading rear legroom, reinforcing the GT’s focus on comfort for every occupant rather than just the driver.

Initially built as a battery-electric vehicle, the Range Rover GT promises effortless electric performance alongside the brand’s renowned all-terrain capability, offering a combination rarely associated with conventional grand tourers. A hybrid version is expected later in its lifecycle, broadening the model’s appeal even further.

Full details of the Range Rover GT, including its technical specifications and performance figures, should be revealed soon.
