A Commemorative Camera Set
Leica M6 Set "Leitz Auction"

Leica has over a century of history in camera making, and its vintage cameras and lenses are highly sought after in the second-hand market, the high point of which is the Leitz Photographica Auction. With the auction celebrating its 20th anniversary last year, it has collaborated with Leica to create an exclusive special edition Leica M6 set, and this is now available for purchase.

The limited Leica M6 Set “Leitz Auction” has been given a glossy black paint finish, while the signature red dot logo is now made of solid gold, specially prepared by a goldsmith in Wetzlar in order to maintain the “Made in Germany” tradition. The natural wood armouring made of walnut veneer is another nice touch found on this unique camera, with engravings in gold and red completing the overall aesthetics.

The camera is paired with the Noctilux-M 50 f/1.2 ASPH. lens, as well as accessories including a lens cap, body cap, and lens hood in the same glossy black. Lastly, a custom-made black leather strap can be found inside the package.

Only 20 sets of Leica M6 Set “Leitz Auction” are available through Leica Camera Classics in Vienna, each costing €25,980.
