Swedish electric car company Polestar recently unveiled its latest creation, the Polestar BST Concept. This exciting new concept began as a unique iteration of the Polestar 2, originally launched in 2020.

Conceived in secret by Polestar’s Head of Chassis Development, Joakim Rydholm, the BST Concept takes the Polestar 2 to new extremes. With increased power, grippier tyres, enhanced suspension, and even a strut brace through the boot, it is not a traditional production car but promises to be one of the most thrilling electric vehicles on the road, showcasing the bolder side of Scandinavian design.

A standout feature is the extensive rear wing, a first for Polestar. Together with bespoke bodywork, it gives the car a robust and aggressive appearance. The exterior is finished in classic motorsport-style silver, adorned with a large wrap-around BST decal. At the front, the BST Concept boasts a large splitter and an aerodynamically optimised bonnet with a unique vented design. A matching diffuser can be found at the rear, and the car runs on a wider track with muscular flared arches and a lowered stance. The 22-inch forged alloy wheels and performance tyres — highlighted with Swedish gold accents on the large brake callipers — complete the aggressive look.

Inside, the BST Concept continues to impress with motorsport-inspired Nappa leather seats and gold detailing. The innovative elements are seamlessly incorporated into the vehicle’s passenger cell, creating an interior as dynamic as the exterior. The Polestar BST Concept also paves the way for the Polestar 6, an electric roadster set for production in 2026.
