40 Years Of Ferrari In Hong Kong
#FerrariHK40: Memories and Visionaries

Blackbird Concessionaires, the official importer of Ferrari for Hong Kong and Macau, just held a grand celebration commemorating the 40th Anniversary of Ferrari in Hong Kong. Taking place inside Blackbird Concessionaire’s historic Repulse Bay property, the #FerrariHK40: Memories and Visionaries event brought together the latest Ferrari models alongside rare Ferrari retrospective machines, showcasing the development and history of the marque to the general public.

The stunning lineup on display included the entire collection of Ferrari’s current road cars such as the all-new Roma Spider and Purosangue, the Daytona SP3 from the ultimate Icona series, as well as unique Officina Classiche restored classics, racing models, V8 and V12 special editions, and the debut display of the LaFerrari prototype.

The Roma Spider made its Hong Kong debut in front of Repulse Bay’s scenic backdrop, celebrating the pleasure-seeking Italian lifestyle of the 1950s and 60s in a contemporary way. The 2+ Spider sports a soft top, something that Ferrari hasn’t incorporated on a front-engined car since the 1969 365 GTS4. The soft top is able to deploy in 13.5 seconds at up to 60 km/h, with personalisation options including bespoke fabrics and contrasting stitching available.

At the back, a new wind deflector is integrated into the backrest of the rear bench without taking up any interior space, and can be activated through a button on the central tunnel. The fastback cabin ends in a subtle nolder as a contemporary interpretation of the signature Ferrari tail. The all-aluminium chassis and the 3,855 cc V8 twin-turbo engine that produces 620 CV at 7,500 rpm and 760 Nm max torque is the perfect accompaniment to the timeless design of the Roma Spider.
