Wishing to replace the cold and mechanical look of most audio speakers, GROVEMADE in Portland, USA has introduced a series of sensual wood speakers. Recently launched, the WOOD SPEAKER is CNC-sculpted from solid walnut or maple cubes with a back-loaded horn interior design. This design guides and intensifies low-frequency sound waves flowing into the horn and replaces the necessity for digital signal processing (DSP). The enclosure has no parallel walls or flat surfaces and its internal geometry eliminates standing waves that cause distortion. The speakers are powered by 2x 25W/8Ω power amplifier and utilise Fountek FR58EX  speaker drivers. It also supports stereo audio inputs with either RCA or 3.5mm connections.
