Teenage Engineering Grip Car

Teenage Engineering is renowned for its eccentric audio and music equipment, delivering both impressive performance and captivating aesthetics. However, amidst its innovative releases, the Swedish brand occasionally introduces whimsical items that capture attention primarily for their visual appeal rather than practical functionality. The Grip Car stands as a notable example of this.

With a price tag of US$ 250, the Teenage Engineering Grip Car surpasses the cost of comparable toy cars, but its unmatched sleekness justifies the investment. Crafted from aluminium 6063-T6, stainless steel, and featuring smooth rubber tyres, the toy car’s frame exhibits innovative design and precision mechanics. Designed by Danish innovator Anders Hermansen, known for his contributions to various Bang & Olufsen products such as the Beosound 5 and select earphones, the Grip Car boasts a 360° rotating steering wheel, enabling movement in any direction across diverse terrains.

Measuring 250 mm in length, 190 mm in width, and 90 mm in height, with a weight of 980 g, this top-tier toy car strikes the perfect balance between size and weight for optimal grip and manoeuvrability. The Grip Car is available in three captivating colours: glossy red, matte black, and anodized aluminium.
