Razer is not short of interesting gaming related teach gear. The company recently showcased the Razer Eracing Simulator concept, one of the most all-round setup that delivers excellent immersive racing experience, mainly built for professional racing training.
The concept incorporates technology from various companies including Vesaro, Simpit, Fanatec and Synthesis VR. The simulator chassis is built around an advanced modular upgrade system for different simulation scenarios. The hand-crafted centre core sits on a motion platform powered by two actuators and a gaming control box so the gamer can experience simulated terrain surfaces, G-force and sounds.
The custom-made 128-inch, curved 202-degree black projection surface is paired with two full HD projectors for vibrant visuals. As for the anodised aluminium and carbon fibre steering wheel, it is wrapped in leather and features magnetic paddles and adjustable buttons, while the hydraulic three-pedal system features quick-release pedal positions and adjustable angles. The racing seat belt can even simulates the effects of G-forces during acceleration, cornering and braking.
Razer does not have a solid plan for releasing this ultimate eracing simulator as a consumer product, but would probably partner with eracing competitions and leagues and continue to develop the concept.
