Timeless Dive Watch Revived
Triton Spirotechnique

In 1963, the Triton Spirotechnique was envisioned by Colonel Jean René Parmentier and stood as one of the most expensive dive watches of its time. Six decades later, we are privileged to witness the latest iteration of this classic model.

While the original French diving watch played a significant role in horological history, the quartz crisis of the 1970s led to the commercial decline of automatic diving watches, marking the unfortunate end of Triton watches. The eventual revival of the Triton brand was initiated by watch enthusiasts Jean-Sébastien Coste and Philippe Friedmann in 2015, with the latest Spirotechnique developed in collaboration with Romain Réa and his team.

The Spirotechnique revival honours its French craftsmanship heritage while incorporating the latest Swiss watchmaking standards. Retaining iconic features such as the crown at 12 o’clock with an articulated crown guard and a stainless steel case capable of withstanding depths of 200 meters, the watch now comes in a 39mm diameter. It is powered by a Swiss-made, customized La Joux-Perret G100 caliber, with 28,800 beats per hour and a 68-hour power reserve. Its vintage-inspired unidirectional bezel and hand-applied Super-LumiNova on the dial enhance underwater legibility, paired with a 60s-style Tropic sport strap that evokes the look and feel of classic diving watches.
