Material Matters
Singer Reimagined Caballero Titanium

Singer is best known for its Porsche restorations, but Singer Reimagined continues to explore the intersection of engineering and timepiece design. The new Caballero Titanium is a watch that favours restraint over excess, while introducing a more contemporary, sport-focused character to the collection. Although the Caballero line was first introduced last year alongside the debut of its in-house movement, this latest execution brings a fresh material focus with the use of titanium.

The 39 mm case is now crafted from Grade 5 titanium, chosen for its combination of strength, lightness and comfort. The finish is deliberately low-key, with a micro-sandblasted surface contrasted by mirror-polished edges that catch the light with precision, balancing matte and gloss.

The design remains unmistakably Singer, with the signature C-shaped case profile retained. The velvet-touch dial plays with light in a more subtle way. Against this backdrop, the four exposed rubies stand out, while a golden flange frames the dial, sharpening legibility and quietly reinforcing Singer’s distinctive identity.

Beneath the surface sits the manually wound Calibre-4 Solotempo (ST5000), first introduced with the Caballero last year. Engineered with four barrels arranged to deliver a stable energy curve, it offers a six-day power reserve while maintaining consistent accuracy and water resistance to 50 m.

The Caballero Titanium is offered in two distinct expressions. The Avio Blue version pairs its cool, technical dial with a Pearl Grey textile strap, complemented by grey leather loops for a contemporary feel. In contrast, the Cocoa Brown variant leans warmer in tone, matched with a khaki green textile strap and Testa di Moro leather loops. Both are finished with a titanium pin buckle, keeping the overall look cohesive and lightweight.
