Judging from the shots on eBay, this BMW Z4 Coupe from Saarbrucken, Germany, looks the same as any other Z4 Coupe on the market. But this car has something rather special hiding under the hood: the considerably beefed-up Z4 parted ways with its original engine in favour of an 8.3-litre V10 from a Dodge Viper SRT-10. That engine generates 550 hp, compared to the E46 M3 that only puts out 330 hp. Consider it an understatement when the owner describes the car’s performance as “brutal”.

Apart from the engine swap, the owner of this German-American hybrid also performed some other changes to make it one of a kind. For example, the Z4’s interior trim was replaced with a neon yellow roll cage, an arresting contrast to the BMW’s all-black exterior. The price tag for this monster is 49,500 euros, and we are pretty sure it will get a lot of interest. How long the buyer lasts before wrapping it around a tree however, is an all-together different question.
