The Ultimate Grand Tourer
Brabus Bodo

For nearly five decades, Brabus has built its reputation as a top-notch tuner. Yet behind the extreme performance figures and widebody creations was a vision that founder Bodo Buschmann never fully realised during his lifetime: the ultimate modern Gran Turismo. Now, that idea finally arrives in the form of the Brabus Bodo.

Based on the Aston Martin Vanquish, the Bodo transforms the British grand tourer into something far more dramatic and unmistakably Brabus. Inspired by the grand touring icons of the automotive golden age, the 2+2 coupé features a long bonnet, low roofline and wide stance that immediately suggest high-speed capability, while the reworked body is constructed extensively from high-strength carbon fibre to maximise aerodynamic efficiency.

At the front, unique LED matrix headlights frame a grille featuring 13 vertical slats, while an active rear spoiler deploys automatically in multiple stages to maintain stability at speed. The “77” emblem beneath the rear glass references the year Brabus was founded in Bottrop in 1977, reinforcing the personal nature of the project.

Performance figures are predictably outrageous. Beneath the sculpted bonnet sits a heavily re-engineered 5.2-litre twin-turbocharged V12 producing 1,000 hp and 1,200 Nm of torque. The result is a 0–100 km/h time of just 3.0 seconds and a top speed electronically limited to 360 km/h. Power is transferred through bespoke 21-inch Monoblock Z-GT forged wheels wrapped in specially developed Continental SportContact 7 Force tyres.

The cabin continues the restrained yet theatrical theme. Smooth black leather, Nubuck and exposed carbon fibre dominate the interior, while embroidered signatures and silhouette graphics honour Buschmann directly. The almost all-black theme also pairs perfectly with the Piano Black exterior finish.

Limited to just 77 examples worldwide, the Brabus Bodo is priced from €1 million before taxes and optional extras.
