With mid-century modern style making a return, many interior and furniture design houses are bringing back bright coloured products with simple, warm silhouettes. Riding on the latest mid-century modern trend, Big Chill started over 10 years ago and has always focused on refrigerator and kitchen appliance manufacturing.

From the United States, Big Chill originally started as a family business by Thom Vernon and his nephew Orion Creamer. Vernon was looking for a fridge with 1950s style but modern performance. He realised Creamer, a recent product design graduate, always loved retro design would be a perfect business partner. Soon after, they established Big Chill.
