The Racing Spirit Lives On
Shelby Cobra continuation series by Shelby Legendary Cars

Shelby no longer produces new Cobras, but American company Superperformance is licensed to build continuation cars under the name of Shelby Legendary Cars. Paying tribute to Bob Bondurant, the first and only FIA GT Championship title winner from America, the legendary #CSX2345 roadster chassis will be rebuilt as a limited edition.

The new Cobra will look identical to the 1960s model with the same chassis, suspension, windshield, rollbar and even the knee protectors. Buyers can select either fibreglass or aluminium bodywork and there is also a FIA Compliant option for track use. For the livery, the Cobra can be dressed as the #3 car as it appeared at the 1964 Grand Prix de Spa or as the #21 in the 1965 Rossfeld Mountain Hill Climb. If a closed roof is preferred, then the Cobra Daytona Coupe CSX2601 painted as the car appeared at Reims and built with aluminium bodywork will be released at the same time.

All versions are made to order and sold as kit cars without an engine and transmission. Only 50 total cars will be built, each bearing a CSX2000 Shelby serial number.
