The Poetic Furniture
The Wait

Somebody once said that apart from ‘sleeping’, the process of ‘waiting’ also occupied certain portion in our lives. Architect and designer Morgane Roux is inspired by work of Edward Hopper, Jim Jarmush, Wim Wenders and John Register, hence creating a set of furniture named ‘The Wait’. This set includes the room divider, the waiting sofa, and the wall lamp, and they are put in poetic scenarios created by the design studio Six N. Five, using soft and gentle colours, reinterpreting the process of ‘waiting’, constructing an emotional sanctuary by these narrative images for those who cannot find their home in reality to wait and expect for something to happen.
