With the Bentley Supersports already representing the most aggressive version of the current Continental GT, Bentley is taking the model a step further with a bold new design initiative. Named ‘Design Theme by Mulliner’, the latest specification introduces something never before seen on a Bentley: an exterior paint finish that fades seamlessly from one side of the car to the other.
Created exclusively for the Supersports, the striking finish is designed to reinforce the car’s driver-focused character. A vibrant highlight colour defines the driver’s side before gradually blending into a darker shade across the bodywork. An off-centre accent stripe runs from nose to tail, aligned with the passenger seat rather than the centreline of the car, while matching pinstripes on the carbon-fibre diffusers, side sills and fender blades further emphasise the bespoke appearance. Even the front grille receives a distinctive number eight motif to complete the look.
Bentley has developed three carefully curated colour themes for the new package. Dragon combines Dragon Red with Black Crystal and is paired with a Hotspur and Beluga interior. Electric blends Electric Blue into Dark Sapphire, complemented by a vivid Klein Blue and Imperial Blue cabin. Brodgar offers a more understated alternative, fading from Pale Brodgar to Brodgar on the exterior while combining Camel and Beluga leather inside.
The interior follows the same philosophy as the exterior. Available exclusively as a two-seater, the cabin adopts an asymmetric colour layout, with the brighter shade surrounding the driver and the darker tone reserved for the passenger. Full leather trim comes as standard, joined by a unique Supersports perforation pattern across the seats and door panels. The gear lever, dashboard stitching and embroidered headrests are all colour-matched to the driver’s side, reinforcing the cockpit’s unmistakable focus on the person behind the wheel.
The Design Theme by Mulliner will make its public debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. With only 500 examples of the Supersports planned, this new initiative further enhances the exclusivity of each car through its distinctive design.
