Coffee machines and the automotive world rarely occupy the same conversation, yet the Barista M3 1926 Limited Edition Carbon Fibre by Ducati, produced by Swiss coffee machine manufacturer Cuisine Barista, is here to celebrate Ducati’s 100th anniversary.
Both the front and rear panels of the coffee machine are crafted from genuine twill-weave carbon fibre, using three precision-laid layers just 1.5 mm thick. The material choice is far more than decorative, echoing the same lightweight composites used across Ducati’s racing motorcycles. The rest of the body is finished in stainless steel treated with a premium PVD coating, giving the machine a clean, industrial appearance that feels closer to a high-performance component than a conventional kitchen appliance. A large Ducati logo at the rear ensures it immediately catches the attention of visitors.
The Barista M3 1926 features a specially developed heating system capable of reaching operating temperature in just seven seconds from a cold start. A PID controller allows brewing temperatures to be adjusted precisely between 70°C and 99°C, while the machine’s extraction programmes vary pressure, flow rate and temperature curves depending on whether the user selects light, standard or strong coffee profiles.
Milk preparation also receives special attention. Alongside a premium steam wand, the machine incorporates what Barista claims is the world’s first integrated in-cup frother, designed to simplify cappuccino and latte preparation without sacrificing texture. A 19-bar high-pressure pump, multilingual digital display, electronic descaling alerts and a companion smartphone app further modernise the experience.
Limited to just 1,926 units worldwide in honour of Ducati’s founding year, this carbon-fibre coffee machine is now available for pre-order ahead of deliveries beginning this autumn.
