Following a teaser image released last month, Mitsubishi has released two more photos and additional information on the e-Evolution Concept which will debut at the Tokyo Motor Show on October 25.

The e-Evolution Concept is an all-wheel drive and all-electric crossover SUV featuring three electric motors, one for front wheels and two for the back, that aims to combine “the very best of Mitsubishi Motors technology with the go-anywhere flexibility of SUVs”. While the teaser images do not show the concept clearly, we can still see it has an angular body and a raked windscreen.

The essence of the concept is the artificial intelligence system. With an array of sensors the AI system can understand the traffic and road conditions and the driver’s intent. It can then coordinate the car’s performance with the driver’s intent for an easier and safer driving experience. The AI system can also assess the driver’s skill level and construct a training programme through voice dialogue and large dashboard display for enhancing the driver’s skills.
