Japanese fashion brand Visvim will be launching Visvim Motors Club, a special capsule collection inspired by its founder Hiroki Nakamura’s love of of vintage cars.
According to Nakamura, things like the vibrations from the steering wheel and accelerator pedal, the smells and sounds from the engine, the regular maintenance and even the unexpected breakdowns all form the unique experience of driving an old car. Talking about the concept of the collection, he mentions he wanted it to be something that could help enhance his experience with driving to make it even more enjoyable, and he has incorporated a lot of fine details on the design.
The collection has an overall retro-inspired American workwear style that stays true to the Visvim brand and comprises 13 items ranging from casual wear, shoe, bag to caps. Highlights include the Mechanics Coveralls, the Coach Down Jacket with prominent lettering of “Visvim Motors Club” at the back, the classic Driver-Folk shoe and t-shirts with fine details. There are also a sun dress and a long sleeve sweatshirt in matching vibrant shade.
Visvim Motors Club capsule collection will drop on 9th September in Visvim flagship stores in Japan and selected global stockists.
