The highly anticipated Sounds speaker from the Japanese fashion brand TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist is now set to make its debut. Unveiled in April of this year, this ultra-high-performance speaker from Takahiro Miyashita’s label boasts a bold design inspired by the iconic Flatiron Building in New York City.
Standing at an impressive 110 cm tall, the Sounds speaker mimics the appearance of a block of weathered concrete, revealing a sculpted representation of the triangular 22-storey Flatiron Building within. While sceptics may question the sound quality of a speaker from a fashion brand, the cement grey polycarbonate composite resin shell conceals seven-speaker units, including two 6.5-inch woofers, two 3-inch mid-range drivers, and three 1-inch tweeters. Remarkably, the speaker delivers an impressive output of 2,000 W, boasting a Maximum sound pressure level of 100 dB and a frequency range of 20Hz to 25KHz. Keeping up with modern standards, the Sounds speaker supports Bluetooth 5.2 and True Wireless Stereo connection.
Whether you’re a dedicated follower of Takahiro Miyashita’s work or simply in search of a speaker with a distinctive aesthetic and outstanding sound quality, the Sounds speaker promises to be a fitting addition to your home audio system.
