Three limited edition David Bowie albums set for Record Store Day 2018

Three rare David Bowie albums are set to be released by Parlophone on this year’s Record Store Day in the UK, including an unreleased live album recorded in 1978.

The lineup will see Bowie’s Welcome to the Blackout (Live London ’78) album, a previously unreleased 3xLP set that features recordings from Bowie’s ‘Isolar II’ tour performances at Earls Court in London on June 30 and July 1, 1978. The next release is a 12’’ single that includes the first full-length demo version of ‘Let’s Dance’, along with a live version on the b-side. Last but not least is ‘Bowie Now’ – a rare 1977 US-only promotional-only LP, featuring tracks from the ‘Heroes’ and ‘Low’ albums, that is now getting its first commercial release.

The rocker lost his battle with cancer on 10 January 2016. He was 69.
