Carbon Themed
A bespoke version of McLaren Senna by McLaren Special Operations

Ahead of the McLaren Senna’s official debut at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show this month, McLaren Special Operations has unveiled a “Carbon Theme” bespoke version of the 2019 supercar.

The car’s body comprises 67 Visual Carbon Fiber parts, requiring almost 1,000 hours to produce. Sporting Carbon Black Alcantara interior trim and carbon fibre exterior, the “Carbon Theme” version features Solar Yellow and Laurel Green details on its black weave that serves as a nod to Ayrton Senna’s helmet livery and home country of Brazil.

“The McLaren Senna customers in the process of specifying their own, personalized cars are almost without exception commissioning an elevated level of MSO content,” says McLaren Special Operations Managing Director Ansar Ali, “so we are definitely appealing to our target audience. With the car having generated so much interest since its unveiling in December, we knew we needed to produce something very special in order to showcase the unique talents of McLaren Special Operations.”

McLaren says the Carbon Theme will add almost £300,000 to the Senna’s £750,000 original price tag. Both will be unveiled at this year’s Geneva Motor Show.
