Porsche 911 Targa Reimagined
Singer Vehicle Design

Singer Vehicle Design may be responsible for some of the most stunning Porsche modifications ever made, but the company may have outdone itself with its recent Porsche 911 Targa restoration. Dubbed “Montreal,” referring to its intended geographic home, this gorgeous specimen features a sophisticated liquid-pewter paint job and a modified 4.0L flat-six by Ed Pink Racing that churns out 390-horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, and will be making its worldwide debut at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Also worth mentioning are signature Singer details such as the iconic “Targa Hoop” that eschews the usual stainless steel finishing for nickel, a leather and suede interior, and two air louvers instead of three, recalling early 911s. There’s also a new Targa top in addition to the traditional roof, which is made from carbon fiber wrapped in a convertible cloth. In short, it’s a modern, high-performance driving experience wrapped in a classic 911 shell, which, to me, is almost as good as it gets.
