Over the years, many race cars have been recreated as LEGO models. Still, the upcoming collaboration between the iconic brick-building brand and Formula 1 promises to be one of the most significant yet. As Formula 1 celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2025, fans can look forward to a new range of LEGO sets launching early next year, thanks to a brand-new multi-year partnership between the two brands.

For the first time, race cars from all ten F1 teams will be transformed into brick-built LEGO miniatures. The Speed Champions series features detailed sets based on the 2024 season’s race cars. Each model measures over 4 cm high, 20 cm long, and 7 cm wide, and includes authentic details such as a rear wing, halo bar, and wider rear tyres with “Pirelli” imprints. Each kit also includes an F1 driver minifigure dressed in the team’s kit and a winged helmet. With 242 to 275 pieces per race car, these sets offer fun for the whole family. For younger builders, LEGO Duplo and LEGO City sets are also available, along with collectable items for dedicated LEGO enthusiasts.

The first race is scheduled for mid-March in Melbourne and the LEGO Speed Champions sets will be available starting 1 March 2025, with pre-orders already open in select regions. LEGO Duplo and LEGO City sets will launch on 1 January, while LEGO collectables will follow on 1 May.
