Fender and Timex are marking a pair of significant anniversaries with a three-watch collection inspired by two of the guitar maker’s most recognisable instruments. The range celebrates 80 years of Fender, while two of the models also acknowledge the Telecaster’s 75th anniversary.

The most substantial of the three is a 41 mm automatic inspired by the Telecaster. Its stainless-steel case surrounds a butterscotch blonde wood-grain dial, which is a clear reference to one of the guitar’s most familiar finishes, while the second hand is shaped like a Telecaster headstock. A two-tone unidirectional bezel, date window and luminous hands add a functional edge. A Miyota 8215 automatic movement is visible through the exhibition caseback, and the watch is finished with a black S.B. Foot leather strap. Water resistance is rated at 200 metres.

A second Telecaster model takes a simpler approach, with a 37 mm case and ice-blue dial. A white guitar motif is embossed across the face, joined by another headstock-shaped second hand and Fender branding. The domed acrylic crystal gives it a more vintage appearance, while the engraved caseback carries the Telecaster 75th Anniversary logo. It comes with a black leather strap featuring blue stitching, plus an additional fabric strap designed to resemble a Fender guitar strap.

The third watch turns to the Stratocaster. Also measuring 37 mm, it features an iridescent mother-of-pearl dial inspired by a Pearloid pickguard, together with a Stratocaster headstock-shaped second hand and a crown resembling a guitar tone knob. A brown S.B. Foot leather strap completes the design.

Each Fender x Timex watch also comes with a guitar pick, adding one final nod to the instruments behind the collection.
