Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn Limited Edition

Bang & Olufsen released the iconic Beogram 4000c turntable way back in 1972. Now, after more than 50 years, the company has launched the limited-edition Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn, featuring the classic turntable paired with modern speakers and sound system, as part of the Recreated Classics initiative.

The Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn Limited Edition is inspired by the iconic Scandinavian sunrise, hence the audio system is given warm Honey, Ginger, and Amber tone aluminium finishes. At the heart of the system, of course, is the Beogram 4000c turntable. Each turntable is an original unit built in the 1970s, recently brought back to the brand’s factory in Denmark and fully restored with the Nordic Dawn colourway. A solid birch wood panel had been added to the warm aluminium finishes to enhance the Nordic ambient.

The turntable is paired with modern Beolab 28 speakers customised in the same Ginger tone and birch wood finish, plus complementary Sandthorne Define fabric from Kvadrat. The Beoremote Halo in Amber aluminium serves as the controller for the system, and the specially built birchwood turntable furniture completes the Beosystem 72-23. The cabinet is not just for storing vinyl records — it also acts as a connectivity hub for smart Bang & Olufsen ecosystem integration thanks to the built-in Beosound Core and Beolab Transmitter units. It also has a built-in charging station for the Beoremote Halo.

Only 100 units of Beosystem 72-23 Nordic Dawn Limited Edition are available globally, and each comes with a price tag of  HK$ 550,000.
