Garmin VIRB 360 Camera

Garmin finally joins the 360 camera market with its brand new VIRB 360 camera.

The waterproof camera can record video at up to 5.7K resolution at 30fps, as well as capturing 360-degree high-quality audio with four built-in microphones. Thanks to its 4K Spherical Stabilisation technology, the camera produces smooth video regardless of camera movement, though the video quality will then decrease to 4K. Additionally, you can edit and share videos instantly from the camera by using the free VIRB mobile app, which can also live stream the video to Youtube or Facebook, but only on iOS devices. Further, the camera also supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ANT+ and NFC connectivity.

Users can start or stop recording through voice commands as well as switch capture modes, or even tag a specific moment in a video to find later quickly. The VIRB 360’s voice control system wakes when it hears “OK Garmin.”

Priced at $799, the Garmin VIRB 360 will debut in June. To find more information about the camera go to Garmin’s website here.
