Born in 1940, Japanese photographer and contemporary artist Nobuyoshi Araki is known for his erotic and controversial imagery, which has gained him worldwide notoriety and established the artist as one of the most influential from Japan.

In a recently-released mini documentary “Photographers in Focus: Nobuyoshi Araki”, directed by Italian director Andrea Cossu for NOWNESS, the 77-year old cult photographer offered personal, intimate reflections about life, love and photography, which also gives us a rare glimpse into his life.
